The introductory training is for those who want to drive with a friend or family member. Theory materials

The theory materials include a Study Booklet (book with practice questions), a Driving Book (to help you follow the training and keep your lessons organized with your instructor), a book with traffic signs, and theory tests—all provided in English.

What you need to do !

1. Driver's license Permit

You apply for your driver’s license permit on the Swedish Transport Agency’s website, where you will answer a few questions about your health. You will also receive a form that you need to bring to authorized personnel who can check your vision.

2. Enrollment at a drving school

Here you can easily register for our mandatory risk education courses.

First, you complete Risk One, which focuses on alcohol, drugs, and fatigue (at least 3 hours).

Next, you continue with Risk Two, also called the slippery road course, where you learn to handle risks that arise on icy or slippery roads (training time 3–4 hours).

3. Supervisor Training / Introductory Training

For those who want to practice driving at home with a parent or friend, there is an option to complete training that grants permission to drive together.

Requirements for the supervisor include being over 24 years old and having held a driving license for the vehicle for at least five of the past ten years.

Students must be over 16 years old with an approved driver’s license permit to begin practice driving, and both the student and the supervisor must have completed an approved course.

4. Book a test

Theory Test: Tests your knowledge of traffic rules, signs, and safety. Computer-based, multiple-choice questions, approximately 50 minutes.

Driving Test: Tests your practical driving skills in traffic. Approximately 45 minutes, including parking, turns, and safe driving.

Jag vill verkligen rekommendera Skånes Trafikskola till alla som funderar på att ta körkortet. Efter en lång resa lyckades jag till slut ta mitt körkort och det är helt och hållet tack vare dem och min fantastiska körlärare Arian.

Arian är en otroligt professionell, lugn och pedagogisk lärare som alltid tog sig tid att förklara saker på ett tydligt och förståeligt sätt. Han hade mycket tålamod och anpassade lektionerna efter mina behov, vilket verkligen gjorde stor skillnad för min utveckling.
